We were lucky to have good weather. October is often wet in this area, so be prepared for less pretty weather.
Moreover October is a month in which there is mostly salmon to catch and that's it.

Comparing to fishing in other places, the cost vs. value is kind of high. Wild salmon are not allowed to be kept, Chinuk salmon seems to be hard to catch in the spot we went to.

We were able to keep larger fish as we went on Sept 2nd. The rules changed on Sept 1. Fishing was not as rampant, but still doable.
